Welcome to the Arts and Communication Department at Kellogg Community College. Eligible candidates may proceed to an honours year in the Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) , or apply for admission to a rich postgraduate program in the humanities and social sciences, comprising advanced learning and professional courses.
As a pre-university program, ALC prepares students for further education in a broad variety of fields including: art history, cinema, communications, cultural studies, drama, education, humanities, international careers, journalism, languages, the liberal arts, linguistics, literature, translation and visual arts.

Students in EMAC take courses designed to prepare them for promising careers in new media made possible by advances in communication technologies: computer graphics, hypermedia, cyberspace and virtual reality, Web design and authoring, the electronic arts and multimedia, animation and game design, to name just a few.
The College has produced many successful graduates from its music and visual communications degree programs who have either transferred to a four-year college or immediately found productive employment in a host of fields, including music composition, education, public relations, graphic arts and design, printing, illustration and communications.
