The purpose of the Arts Organization Project Grant program is to support registered Alberta arts organizations, companies and/or schools by providing a grant for a specific arts-related project or event. The arts community is an important sector to support and nurture, we feel that the SALA sponsorship will provide this support and continue to promote artists and the community they are a part of. Increase racial equity inside arts organizations, with a special focus on large, well-established ones, to achieve more racially diverse staff, boards, audience, and programming. We invest in the vital work of these racially diverse arts groups so the art canon and sector can be flush with diverse artists, spaces and audiences.
