Minister for the Arts Mitch Fifield has announced $10 million for more than 70 projects through the Catalyst—Australian Arts and Culture Fund. The LifeCycles Project Society, a local non-profit group, was contracted to collect data and create an inventory, as well as prepare a draft report that identified opportunities and gaps in Victoria’s current arts and cultural community and made recommendations for future priorities.

Priority: Retain the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program which supports afterschool, out-of-school programs and expanded learning time in schools. The International Theatre Institute Germany supports international cultural cooperation and provides information services. British Arts Festivals Association : A calendar, directory, and map for more than 100 arts festivals across the UK. Fonds Darstellende Künste (Performing Arts Fund) supports performing arts productions across Germany.

The goal of the Culture Program is to strengthen arts organizations by ensuring racially diverse program offerings, artists’ commissions, staff, board leadership, and ultimately audience – and do that in measurable, sustainable ways. An assessment committee made up of OAC staff from the visual arts and craft office,the Deaf and Disability Arts & Access committee as well as artists or arts professionals from the disability arts sector reviews applications and makes recommendations on an ongoing basis.
