Massachusetts voters appeared to reject a major expansion of charter schools Tuesday, brushing aside calls for greater school choice amid concerns about the overall health of public education. For students seeking in-depth or extended arts experiences, there are a wealth of opportunities offered by our outstanding arts and cultural organizations. While education probably plays some role, I wonder if a larger contribution is the personality type that is attracted to engineering as profession.
