In the past year, the Flagstaff Arts Council has produced some amazing programs at the Coconino Center for the Arts and in the community. The Arts Organization Operational Grant program supports the annual operating expenses of some of Alberta’s arts and cultural organizations and companies, including theatre and performing arts organizations, public art galleries and community arts organizations.
The projects include single and multi-year activities across the visual arts, screen based art, music, digital arts, dance and physical theatre, performing arts, cross-disciplinary art forms, community arts as well as arts support and development projects.
Advocates can encourage local and state education policymakers to use their federal funds in these areas to support arts education. We are asking for your help so that the Flagstaff Arts Council can continue to provide you with these and many other exciting programs.
