Art IS Education is an annual, much anticipated county-wide showcase demonstrating the power of youth learning in and through the arts. The Tennessee Arts Commission offers strategies to bring together educators, artists, and community partners to recognize the arts as essential to learning in a variety of instructional settings from the classroom to the community and beyond. Sufficient data exists to overwhelmingly support the belief that study and participation in the fine arts is a key component in improving learning throughout all academic areas.
