Through advancing excellence in research, teaching and learning, the Wits School of Arts combines critical inquiry with artistic practice in ways that engage in transformative ways with our contemporary urban, African and global contexts. The School of Arts and Social Sciences offers research degrees and doctoral training opportunities in all departments. Since 1983 this event has been run by parent volunteers who devote hundreds of combined hours to raise money that benefits the general student population at Bella Vista High School. Finding solace in books and making wonderful friends with the characters is also thanks to the wonderful library system of our school. Students the opportunity to have an open dialogue around stress and anxiety with Burlington High School staff members. Though this is, in large part, an expose’ on the lessor-known elements of the martial arts world, it is also a very personal story about the first twenty-seven years of my journey in the martial arts. The School of Arts and Social Sciences is delighted to offer a number of scholarships for postgraduate students.

Moving on, if you are expecting a story about a bullied kid who uses his martial arts training as a tool to defeat his tormentors, gain self-respect, and win the respect of his peers; you’re not exactly on the money, but you’re getting closer. After a thorough assessment and planning effort, the Grossmont Union High School District Governing Board took action on August 4, 2016, to place Measure BB, a local school bond, on the November ballot. Although a school gives you much more than just formal education, it does eventually direct you to your career goal in life. RAPPING, a kind of rhythmic versifying with skeletal instrumental or unrecorded accompaniment, began in Harlem, the South Bronx and other black communities in the New York area. Grace ‘Connell, BA (Hons) Fashion & Textiles graduate has won the Gold Wolverhampton Enterprise and Employability Award for the Faculty of Arts. I’ve been overwhelmed by my immersion into the realities of First Nation politics and arts practice.
Career & College Fair for high school students and parents tomorrow, Saturday, October 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cuyamaca College at 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway in El Cajon. To be eligible to apply, the lead applicant needs to be Arts Council funded, or have presented work to the public through ACE programmes. The School of Art Glassell Gallery provides opportunities for students to display their work off campus. Singers from South High School, North High School, and Mendota High School gathered in the choir room at DGS to rehearse Ms. Parker’s arrangements and to develop together a deeper sense of artistic expression through vocal music performance.
