Marco de Jong has been named the Arts Student of the Year by the Auckland University Arts Students’ Association. This program is supported in part by the Greater Augusta Arts Council through appropriations from the City of Augusta, by the Georgia Council for the Arts, by a number of generous foundations, and by your contributions. To develop in young people the appreciation, discrimination, analysis, and participation skills necessary to become lifelong consumers of the arts. The visit was hosted by Lieutenant Danielle Redmond, a Navy pilot and former high school ROTC Cadet. Cristi serves the Grossmont District as a Senior Secretary at El Capitan High School.

The company of the Illinois Theatre Association’s Sweeney Todd” production consists of 108 high school students from across the state. At my son’s school instead of recognizing grades the staff hosts a breakfast for students who excel in the learning skills categories. A school does not just give you knowledge, but educates you on the wisdom to apply the knowledge appropriately.
