Alongside Paul Camic, Victoria Tischler and Norma Daykin I had the opportunity to share some of the work of Dementia & Imagination artist Penny Klepuszewska – (which when you see/hear it – I think you’ll agree – is profound)…but alongside the effervescent poet Gary Glazner, it was the honest, intelligent and heartfelt presentation of Larry Gardiner from Oxfordshire Advocates who blasted the delegates with his reality check.
My whole life has been centered around this reality, and there’s no distinction in my heart between strength training, functional movement, manual medicine, acupuncture, herbology, injury rehab, combat sports, and tactical science. After his death his son gave the press to the University of Richmond, which placed it on extended loan at the Tampa Book Arts Studio. Over the years, I’ve written & re-written so many different CVs for different projects & hosts that trying to look through all the different PDFs & files to update them has gotten to be chore that I don’t have the bandwidth for, especially when they ask for skill-specific CVs.
