Welcome to the Arts and Communication Department at Kellogg Community College. One of the largest Schools in the Faculty of Arts , we contribute exciting majors and subjects to the Bachelor of Arts , as well as offering unique Masters level courses that lead towards professional vocations in publishing, writing, museums and galleries, other arts and media institutions.

This module draws on the practical skills and theories of Journalism 1; develops higher levels of competencies and explores ways of building on those skills. Students complete specified units of study in media and communications over four years and a major from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Table A subject areas which can be completed as a two or three year defined sequence of study.
The College provides students in the program state of the art computer labs allowing each stu-dent to have an individual work station, a study room for the realization of individual and team work, Video and film studio equipment provided including digital cameras, microphones, and other relevant material, and the most up to date digital editing software.
Eligible candidates may proceed to an honours year in the Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) , or apply for admission to a rich postgraduate program in the humanities and social sciences, comprising advanced learning and professional courses.
