An assessment committee made up of OAC staff from the visual arts and craft office,the Deaf and Disability Arts & Access committee as well as artists or arts professionals from the disability arts sector reviews applications and makes recommendations on an ongoing basis.

Wales Arts International : A collaboration between the British Council and the Arts Council of Wales that offers an international audience the opportunity to gain a clear perspective on the arts from Wales while facilitating communication between presenters, organizations, festival directors, companies, and artists.
By supporting arts organizations that commission and exhibit work by artists of color, employ all levels of staff of color, and regularly offer programs with content expressing multiple ethnic viewpoints, we ensure the arts are at their best and the canon is flush with the necessarily diverse expressions of 21st century creativity.
Other projects already funded through the Queensland Arts Showcase Program include Blue Roo Theatre Company’s three-year collaboration with Opera Queensland on a production of Orpheus in December 2016, the 2016 Cairns Tropical Writers Festival in August, and unique dance collaboration between Torres Strait dancers and Townsville’s Dancenorth resulting in a dynamic new work to premiere in 2017.
