Bachelor of Business component – 96 credit points including one Major with not more than 48 credit points at 100-level and at least 24 credit points at 300/400-level and not more than 12 credit points at 400-level. Arts Enterprise has been followed up by the development of additional coursework, an entrepreneurship competition called the New Arts Venture Challenge (founded by Jutt and now funded and supported by the Arts Institute), the connection of coursework and internship credit to the Certificate of Entrepreneurship, which is available to any student on campus, and coursework and training for BBA students in aesthetic development for leadership training.
The Arts & Business Council Sacramento Region works to nurture the creative economy by providing technical assistance, resources, leadership, community outreach, volunteer training and placement to an audience of civic leaders, artists, nonprofit arts/culture organizations, creative entrepreneurs and businesses.

New Arts Venture Challenge, directed by Jutt and managed by the Arts Institute, now runs in parallel with the School of Business’ Burrill Business Plan Competition, providing students with multiple avenues for pitching entrepreneurial ideas with a creative edge or for a creative business start-up.
