Painting media are a very important aspect for an artist to draw any kind of painting. Students study the history, contemporary issues and theory of media and culture while developing advanced technical and conceptual skills in film, video, new media and sound. Courses in this list set the study of arts and media in broad cultural or social contexts. By the end of Year 8, students identify and analyse how representations of social values and points of view are portrayed in the media artworks they make, distribute and view.
